ICE26: Innovation. Collaboration. Excellence.
The ICE framework is not a one-year theme. It is the enduring leadership culture that will define JCI Aso for years to come.
We stand on a legacy of twenty-five years marked by consistency, courage, and collective commitment to impact. That legacy gives us credibility, and it places a responsibility on us to lead with intention.
In 2026, we are institutionalizing three principles that put members first, leverage innovation, foster true collaboration, and drive excellence across everything we do. These are not aspirational ideals, They are standards we have set for ourselves and the measure by which we intend to be known.
Innovation: Building the Future Today
We deploy technology and creative thinking to solve old problems in new ways. In 2026, JCI Aso is launching a continuous learning hub for members, blending leadership, business, and digital skills through the 2026 Development Series.
We are establishing a Digital Operations Hub, a cloud-based system for project management, reporting, and member engagement. We are building a digital marketplace where members can showcase and trade their products and services, and institutionalizing an opportunity desk to share jobs, grants, and global exchange programs.
Technology tools for attendance, surveys, and impact tracking are now standard practice. Innovation is not about gadgets. It is about making JCI Aso work smarter, serve better, and stay ahead.
Collaboration: Strength in Unity
No chapter moves alone. JCI Aso is creating a Partner Network of corporate, NGO, and government alliances with clear return on investment for all parties.
We are integrating the Alumni Advisory Council into strategic decision-making, strengthening inter-chapter collaborations within JCI Nigeria and regionally, and fostering inter-directorate synergy through structured collaboration platforms.
Collaboration is where the individual effort becomes collective impact, where partnerships turn into programmes, and where JCI Aso stops operating in isolation and starts operating as a movement.
Excellence: Raising the Standard
Excellence is deliberate. We are adopting a Project Excellence Framework with mandatory quality benchmarks for all initiatives, establishing an Annual Member Recognition Gala to celebrate contributions and inspire higher performance, and implementing transparent monitoring and evaluation across all programmes.
We are defining and tracking project impact metrics to avoid mismatched expectations, and creating safe spaces and welfare systems to make JCI Aso a home for every member.
Excellence is not perfectionism. It is the refusal to settle for what is comfortable when what is great is within reach.
