Junior Chamber International (JCI) Aso has also recognised Transcorp Hilton Abuja for its long-standing commitment to youth development, spanning over two decades.
The commendation was given at JCI Aso’s 25th Convention and Anniversary held at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
At the 2025 Convention and Investiture, the hotel received multiple partnership appreciation awards for its continued support of leadership training, seminars, and community-based initiatives aligned with JCI Aso’s objectives.
Speaking at the event, the 2025 President of JCI Aso, Amb. Felix Akinyemi Sunday said the consistency of Transcorp Hilton’s institutional support had played a critical role in the organisation’s growth and impact.
He noted that the partnership had strengthened JCI Aso’s capacity to deliver programmes that prepare young people for leadership, professional life, and civic engagement.
Earlier in the anniversary year, Transcorp Hilton Abuja reaffirmed its commitment to the partnership during JCI Aso’s press briefing, signalling plans to sustain collaborative programmes in the coming years.
JCI Aso described the relationship as mutually beneficial, combining the hotel’s corporate expertise and resources with the organisation’s youth leadership pipeline and volunteer network.
Reinforcing the message, the 2026 President of JCI Aso, Amb. Peter Emmanuel Yilbiem called for stronger public-private partnerships to drive sustainable youth development.
He urged other corporate organisations to adopt long-term, programme-driven engagement models similar to Transcorp Hilton’s, describing them as vital to national growth and social responsibility
